This Moisture Sensor is the perfect way to turn your robotics project into a gardening project.
This Moisture Sensor uses capacitive sensing to detect minor changes in moisture, and we highly recommend using it in soil. We use this sensor with our Automated Plant Watering project and bundle. It's compatible with our Bit Board, Robotics Board, MicroBit, and MS Make Code. Voltage input is 3.3 - 5V and the output signal is digital.
Information is output via the JST connector on the board and using the included JST to female ribbon cable. To connect it to our Robotics or Bit Board just use the included female to female ribbon cable. For example code and projects please look around our Project Database.
