This two AA battery holder also comes with a JST connector on the end of its 6 inch wire leads. You'll find this, and it's AAA counter part, included with some of our Crazy Circuits and Bit Board kits. The red JST connector allows for easy connections with our Bit Board and Right Angled Male Header Chip.
If you're using this with certain brick building platforms, you can add on our custom holder. This allows Technic pegs to be inserted along the bottom. The battery holder is held in with double sided tape. You can also 3D print your own using our free files.
If you use 2 AA rechargeable batteries you'll get 2.4V of output. If you're using 2 regular AA batteries you'll get 3V of output. Either output works find with our V2 Bit Board, but for simpler projects you'll need to make sure the power output is appropriate.
